The wiring principle of the metal pushbutton switch is based on the on-off control of the circuit, and its working process is as follows:
 
- Normally open switch: It is in an open state under normal conditions. When the metal pushbutton is pressed, the moving contact inside closes with the stationary contact, and the circuit is turned on. The electric current flows from one end of the power supply through the switch to the load, enabling the load to operate. After releasing the pushbutton, the moving contact resets under the action of the spring, the switch returns to the open state, and the circuit stops supplying power.
- Normally closed switch: It is in a closed state under normal conditions, and the circuit is a complete circuit. When the pushbutton is pressed, the moving contact separates from the stationary contact, the circuit is disconnected, and the load stops operating. After releasing the pushbutton, the moving contact resets, and the circuit returns to the conducting state.
- Composite switch: It has both normally open and normally closed contacts simultaneously. When the pushbutton is pressed, the normally open contact closes, and the normally closed contact opens, achieving the switching control of different circuits. Some metal pushbutton switches may also have multiple pins, which can be used to connect different circuit lines to meet complex control requirements.
 

During actual wiring, the pins of the switch need to be correctly connected to relevant circuit components such as the power supply and the load. Follow the electrical installation specifications to ensure a firm and reliable connection, so as to achieve effective control of the circuit.
